Executive Orders
Legal Basis: Executive Orders enabling the effective management of the Association including but not limited to decisions, omissions, recommendations, practices, procedures, rules and regulations, are issued by the Officers based on Article 3, Section 2, of the Articles of Association. The Officers may also issue Executive Orders to add detail to the Terms-of-Reference of Officers based on Article 3, Section 3, of the Articles of Association in circumstances where the body of Ordinary Members of the Association has failed to do so based on Article 2, Section 3, of the Articles of Association.
- Each Officer of the Association is empowered to singularly authorise any actions explicit or implied in the Terms-of-Reference of her/his position, except those involving the accounts of the Association at financial institutions.
- No Officer of the Association may authorise actions not explicit or implied in the Terms-of-Reference of her/his position. In case an Officer is temporarily unable to discharge the powers and duties of her/his position, these shall devolve to any Officer in the same position or, if such Officers are also temporarily unable to discharge said powers and duties, to the Secretary General, thereafter to the Treasurer and thereafter to the first able Officer with the longest years of service under the Association.
- The Treasurer and the Secretary General of the Association are empowered to singularly authorise actions involving the accounts of the Association at financial institutions, including but not limited to issuing payment orders, transfering monies from one account of the Association to another and opening and closing accounts of the Association. In case both the Treasurer and the Secretary General are temporarily unable to execute those actions, these shall devolve to the first able Officer with the longest years of service under the Association.
